Crap Posthumous Albums

It happens all the time, an artist dies and his record label is quick to cash in — they drop an album, hoping it sales like hot cakes. In most cases the album is crap, leaving the deceased musician rolling in the grave with embarrassment and denting their legacy.

We look at albums that should have NEVER seen the day of light.

Big Pun – Endangered Species

No one even remembers this album, hitting shelves was a mistake.

J Dilla – Rebirth Of Detroit

We love Dilla. We don’t love this album. As great as Dilla’s production is, pairing him with several mediocre rappers and not with the likes of Royce Da 5’9″, Elzhi, T-3 or anybody that helped build his legacy is a signal that perhaps this one should have stayed in the harddrive.

Notorious B.I.G. – Born Again

As incredible as Christopher Wallace was with his albums while he was alive, why screw up his legacy by releasing a subpar posthumous piecemeal album? Oh yes, to make money.

2Pac – Pac’s Life

This is the worst Pac album - it's bad… Joe Jackson bad. Saddled with a bunch of random ass guest appearances from Southern rappers and some awkward production.

Michael Jackson – Michael

Tell me, what’s your favorite song on the album? Exactly! You don’t remember anything. That’s not what a Michael Jackson album is supposed to be.

Brenda Fassie - Gimme Some Volume

Another album people don't even know or ever heard of, the least said on how bad it is the better.
